Southern MC was a break off of the Classels, a Club that was founded in
1967 in Homestead Florida. Under the new name Southern Brotherhood, they
were 1 of 14 Charter Clubs that Formed the South Florida President's
Council. They rode with those colors until 1993 when they changed their
name to Southern Riders. In 1999 they redesigned the Colors to Southern
MC. Recently one of the original members from Southern Brotherhood
retired as a full patch holder for life. Because of the location of
Homestead, most of the runs exceed 100 miles so if you don’t like to
ride you won't last long with Southern. After having said that, Southern
MC has grown strong with a respectable membership. They serve their
community with charities they believe in. If you are ever in Homestead
stop in at one of the Establishments listed on the site and say hello.
You are bound to have a good time and you will always be welcome. |
